How are you praying for the President?

I will be the first to say that I did not vote for Obama in the last presidential election. It was due primarily to his views on moral and biblical issues.  I am excited about the Huckabee/Palin ticket in the near future:)  AS for Obama today,  I can fully and completely embrace the diversity of race and other political differences as valued and necessary.   I continue in love and humbly pray for the man.  I must be honest that I  have grown to respect him in a number of ways even though I disagree greatly in others.

I committed the day that Obama won the election to pray for the man in a way that would honor God and respect the office of president.  I have seen some things recently from some in far religious right that make me as sick at my stomach as the left wing views Nancy Paloci’s . Unhealthy prayers, statements and religious redicric  are being propagated in  name of God that I think does not represent a Rom 13:1-3 Biblical worldview and does more harm than good in this post-Christian culture.  Our words can do more harm than good.  They can give life or death (Prov 18:21)

This video clip will give you a look into what I am talking about.
